Chase Elliott returns to his home track, Lanier National Speedway, this Saturday for the second annual James Garrison Memorial. The 100-lap feature is a tribute to James Garrison, a longtime fixture in the local racing community around Lanier who passed away in 2007. The Pro Late Model feature started with a $3,000 prize for first place, but the Garrison family and other sponsors pitched in to increase the bonus to $5,000 for the race winner. All three Bill Elliott Racing drivers, Elliott, Casey Roderick and Trey Poole, will compete in the special event, which is expected to attract other regional drivers, including Jason Hogan and Jeff Choquette. Elliott, who has racked up four consecutive top-three finishes at Lanier, is looking for his fifth win this season in the No. 9 Aaron's Dream Machine.

Fans at Lanier will be able to meet and greet the drivers during an on-track autograph session, which begins at 6 p.m. with features, including the James Garrison Memorial 100, beginning at 7 p.m. For more information, please visit www.LanierSpeedway.com.

Elliott and his BER teammates also participated in a tire test this week at the reconstructed Gresham Motorsports Park (formerly Peach State Speedway) in preparation for November's World Crown event.
