PARA SU DIVULGACIÓN INMEDIATA
ATLANTA (February 8, 2009) Aaron Rents, Inc. (Aaron’s) of Atlanta and Michael Waltrip Racing (MWR) of Cornelius, N.C. today announced that Aaron’s has increased its sponsorship commitment with MWR and will be the primary sponsor of the No. 00 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) Toyota Camry driven by third-year driver David Reutimann for the complete 2009 race season.
"Aaron’s believes in NASCAR and Michael Waltrip Racing," said Michael Waltrip, co-owner of Michael Waltrip Racing and driver of the No. 99 Aaron's Dream Machine Toyota in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. "We have consistently grown our relationship for the last 10 years. Now, Aaron's is taking another step and increasing its sponsorship involvement to sponsor David Reutimann and his No. 00 Toyota Camry team for the entire 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season. We know times are tough right now and we are blessed to have such great partners in Aaron's, NAPA and Toyota. They are why Michael Waltrip Racing exists. We will continue to fight hard to provide them with the results and exposure they deserve. We are certainly thankful for their continued support."
Aaron’s had previously announced sponsorship of Reutimann for 18 of the 36 Sprint Cup races. After continued discussions, Aaron’s has agreed to add the remaining 18 Cup races.
“For Aaron’s to step up its commitment at this level really says a lot about their confidence in this program.” said Reutimann. “It means so much to me personally to have the Aaron’s Dream Machine colors on the No. 00 all year and I intend to do the best I can to represent their brand. Having full sponsorship will allow this team to focus on performance and that is what we will need to get to Victory Lane.”
Aaron’s has been the primary sponsor of Reutimann and the No. 99 NASCAR Nationwide Series team for the past two seasons and a partner with MWR for the past nine years. The 2009 season marks 10 years of alliance between Aaron’s and MWR.
“Our experience with Michael Waltrip and his race teams over the years has proven that their programs have tremendous marketing value for Aaron’s.” stated Robin Loudermilk, Chief Executive Officer of Aaron Rents, Inc. “We are pleased that we can increase our involvement with Michael and David Reutimann and look forward to seeing the Aaron’s Dream Machine on track all year.”
In addition to being the primary sponsor on Reutimann’s No. 00 for the season, Aaron’s will sponsor the MWR No. 99 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) Dream Machine for 10 select races with owner/driver Michael Waltrip back behind the wheel and the No. 23 R3 Motorsports entry with driver Ken Butler III for 18 Nationwide Series races.
