Reutimann Accepts His Seventh Place Trophy at the NASCAR Nationwide Banquet

On Saturday night, November 22nd, David Reutimann accepted his seventh-place NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) trophy at the Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando.

Reutimann earned one pole award, eight top-five and 15 top-10 finishes and led 182 laps in the No. 99 Aaron's Dream Machine Toyota Camry during the 2008 NNS Series season driving for Michael Waltrip Racing (MWR) in 35 events. Overall, the Florida native has recorded three pole awards, one win, 15 top-five and 34 top-10 finishes in his career.

Reutimann will return to the No. 99 Aaron's Dream Machine Toyota Camry for select races during the 2009 NNS season and will share driving responsibilities with Michael Waltrip.

On the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series side, Reutimann will compete full-time in the No. 00 Toyota sponsored by Aaron's for 18 premier races beginning with the Daytona 500 in February. 2009 marks Aaron's 10th year with MWR.

The NASCAR Nationwide Series Awards Banquet is scheduled to air on Sunday, November 30th at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
